In my studio in Conception Bay South, I create art work based on my experiences of    special places, drawing attention to the need for environmental awareness. 

During my travels I sketch my impressions of Newfoundland and Labrador’s majestic terrain. In my studio, I create paintings on canvas. These images represent places that are important to the people that call this place home, the coast, the sea, the woods, and rivers.  

I was born in St. John's, and since childhood I have had a strong connection with the community -  the familiar streets and neighborhoods of this interesting place, continually exploring the natural world.  I have been painting for over 30 years, and I continue to draw inspiration from the coastal landscape. My art strives to capture the relationship between nature and people with images of local communities, parks and gardens.  Expressing my  feelings about life on the Atlantic Coast of Canada.   

I have had many exhibitions and my original paintings are in art collections across Canada and around the world.
